Ah. Done with basic algebra! The final wasn’t so bad. I overprepared and was shocked to see how much was on there from the early part of the semester. The nice thing about multiple choice math is you can use the answer choices to work the problems and figure the answer out. The teacher is going to post grades tomorrow to our records and lock it into the transcripts. I’m waiting on my grade from the psychology test. I am shocked (not!) that it hasn’t been posted already. She said she’d do it within 24 hours…
Now my big personal debate: Take tomorrow and study A&P or go to listen to Ina May Gaskin speak?
| Pros | Cons |
| It’s Ina May Gaskin! Perhaps the most famous midwife in the world! | It will cost me $95 to spend a few hours listening; can’t stay the whole day because I have to pick up kids from school. |
| It’s Ina May Gaskin! Perhaps the most famous midwife in the world! | I have a test on Monday that I need to at least score 55 points on to stay in the game. |
| It’s Ina May Gaskin! Perhaps the most famous midwife in the world! | I have an extra credit assignment to give me another 5 points that I still haven’t completed. I could use the time. |
| It’s Ina May Gaskin! Perhaps the most famous midwife in the world! | I would feel guilty all day at spending the money and not spending time on school. |
| It’s Ina May Gaskin! Perhaps the most famous midwife in the world! | If I don’t go I won’t get to see a lot of my friends and acquaintances who I might not see again for years. |
For now I will watch Grey’s Anatomy until the kids go to bed. I’ll do the extra credit tonight and probably decide at o’dark thirty.

Oh, those stinkin’ dilemmas. I am not going at all. Can’t commit and can’t spend the money. Maybe there will be a birth so I will have an excuse.

You gotta go! Ina May is soooooo cool! I spent an entire day with her a few years ago and she even sat next to me at a dinner party. She is really interesting to talk to. Screw school, Ina May is in town!!!

Wow, how could you miss an opportunity like that. Oh, that’s right, life gets in the way.
I’m hoping you go, so I can hear about it.
It’s Ina May Gaskin!
